Bon Jovi Returns to Australia

Bon Jovi will return to Australia for their first stadium tour in more than eight years, kicking off the Forever Tour in Melbourne on March 4, 2027, followed by a Sydney show on March 11, 2027, following frontman Jon Bon Jovi’s recovery from reconstructive vocal cord surgery.

Marvel Stadium and Accor Stadium Dates for March 2027

Australian rock fans face an eight-year wait coming to an end as Bon Jovi confirmed the Australian leg of the Forever tour will launch at Melbourne’s Marvel Stadium on March 4, 2027. The GRAMMY Award-winning and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame band will then travel north to perform at Sydney’s Accor Stadium on March 11, 2027, according to Ticketmaster’s tour announcements.

The upcoming run marks the group’s first time touring the country since their 2018 stadium run promoting This House Is Not for Sale, a massive trek that drew 159,000 fans nationwide.

In 2025, the group released a special version titled Forever (Legendary Edition) featuring reimagined tracks alongside artists like Bruce Springsteen, Robbie Williams, and Avril Lavigne. Meanwhile, Universal Pictures moved forward with developing a biopic centered on the rock band.

Reconstructive Vocal Surgery and the Return to Live Touring

The 2027 dates arrive after a challenging medical recovery for frontman Jon Bon Jovi, who underwent reconstructive surgery in 2022 to repair atrophying vocal cords.

During the New York residency, the singer faced a minor setback when he called an early halt to the eighth show after 90 minutes while battling a sinus infection. Those concertgoers received full refunds despite experiencing three-quarters of the two-hour show. Addressing the incident, Jon Bon Jovi noted that he simply felt a little scratch and chose to prioritize joy over money before returning two days later to deliver a celebrated performance.

But now that I’m healed and it works every day, how could I have nothing other than joy?
