Klaudia Steps Into Full-Circle Role as Director of Development for UND’s College of Nursing and Professional Disciplines
Klaudia has returned to her alma mater with a familiar sense of purpose, stepping into the role of Director of Development for the College of Nursing and Professional Disciplines at the University of North Dakota. For Klaudia, the appointment represents a deeply personal homecoming rooted in years of campus involvement, student leadership, and local community building.
A second-generation UND alumna, Klaudia earned both her Bachelor of Science in Psychology and her Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from the university. Her undergraduate years included three years on the spirit squad cheering for UND football, basketball, and volleyball, alongside conducting research and co-founding the campus group Volunteers Together.
“UND gave me more than an education, it gave me lifelong friendships, my husband, and a community that feels like family,“ Klaudia noted in her profile. Coming back to campus in this role is a full-circle moment.
Building Philanthropic Partnerships Across Healthcare and Community
In her new position, Klaudia focuses on connecting alumni, donors, and regional partners with philanthropic opportunities within the College of Nursing and Professional Disciplines. Her approach centers on listening to individual passions and translating them into direct support for the CNPD.
Klaudia brings a background in healthcare philanthropy to the role, having previously managed capital campaigns, corporate giving initiatives, and large-scale event planning. Her professional credentials include certification as a Fund Raising Executive alongside an Emerging Leaders Certificate from the U.S. Small Business Administration.

Reflecting on past collaborations with neonatal intensive care unit teams, Klaudia emphasized the human side of development work. That experience, she shared, “reinforced how powerful philanthropy can be when you take the time to understand the people behind the mission, listen to what they need, and bring the right people together to make something meaningful happen.”
Outside of her university duties, Klaudia stays active in the broader regional community. She serves as board chair of the Northlands Rescue Mission, acts as a senior style and presentation consultant supporting the pageant community through Forevermorley Productions, and volunteers as a judge for local and regional science fairs. Based in Fargo, she also operates a local shop named Klaudia & Co., balancing her professional commitments with family life alongside her husband—a UND physical therapy professor—and their son.
