Phoenix Police Seek Help After Suspects Crash Stolen Car Into Gun Store

Two masked suspects flee with rifles after crashing stolen car into Phoenix gun store

Two masked men are on the loose in North Phoenix after a high-impact commercial burglary that saw a stolen vehicle used to smash into a local firearm retailer. The suspects successfully made off with two rifles and ammunition before fleeing the scene on foot, leaving local law enforcement searching for answers regarding the potential use of the stolen high-powered weapons.

According to reporting from fox10phoenix.com, the incident was preceded by a vehicle theft earlier in the year. Phoenix Police Sergeant Sheree Lee noted that the suspects first stole a vehicle from an apartment complex located near 19400 North Cave Creek Road around 12:30 a.m. on March 27.

The execution of the burglary mirrored a cinematic stunt. Lee described how the suspects used the stolen vehicle to strike the gun store, essentially shattering the building to gain entry. Once the structure was breached, the two individuals grabbed two rifles and a quantity of ammunition and exited the premises.

Police seek public assistance to identify suspects

Investigators are currently working to identify two males dressed in dark clothing. While the suspects wore masks that obscured their faces, police have released specific details regarding their attire to help narrow the search.

  • One suspect wore clothing featuring the word “Cali.”
  • The second suspect wore Nike shoes and clothing with white writing.
  • Both suspects were wearing long-sleeve clothing, which Sergeant Lee noted was unusual given the warmer weather at the time of the incident.

The theft of high-powered weaponry poses a significant public safety risk. Because the intended use of the stolen rifles remains unknown, the Phoenix Police Department is treating the case with high priority. The department is specifically looking for anyone who may have observed these individuals in the North Phoenix area or anyone who may have encountered a rifle in their household that they cannot account for.
