Bowie State Celebrates Senior Day Against Lincoln University

Bulldogs Return to Bulldog Stadium for 2026 Regular Season Finale

Bowie State football returns home on Saturday, Nov. 7, hosting Lincoln University (PA) for a Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association showdown that marks the final regular-season appearance for the program’s graduating class. Kickoff is scheduled for 1 p.m. ET at Bulldog Stadium in Bowie, Maryland, according to bsubulldogs.com.

The Bulldogs enter the contest holding a 4-5 overall record alongside a 4-3 mark in conference play. Head coach Dawson Odums and his squad look to finish their home schedule on a winning note while honoring 11 senior student-athletes before kickoff.

Bouncing Back After Fayetteville State

Saturday’s matchup arrives on the heels of a narrow 21-17 road loss to Fayetteville State University on Oct. 31. The Bulldogs battled throughout that contest, staying within striking distance until the final whistle against one of the conference’s established programs.

That resilience has defined much of Bowie State’s 2026 campaign. The team’s four wins include a 34-23 victory over Elizabeth City State University on Sept. 26—which marked Odums’ first career win at the helm—followed by a 34-29 home-opening win against Shaw University. The Bulldogs also secured a 21-0 shutout at Winston-Salem State University and a dramatic 16-13 Homecoming victory over Johnson C. Smith University on Oct. 24.

Scouting the Lincoln University Lions

Lincoln University arrives in Maryland searching for momentum as the regular season draws to a close. The Lions carry a 1-8 overall record and a 1-6 mark in CIAA play into Saturday’s contest. Their lone conference win came on Sept. 26 against Bluefield State in a 20-7 decision, though the team has faced a rigorous schedule featuring matchups against Virginia State, Virginia Union, and Shaw.

The pregame Senior Day ceremony will recognize the leadership and perseverance of 11 departing student-athletes who helped shape the program through tight conference battles and challenging non-conference tests alike.
