A man in his 60s died late Sunday when his car collided with a bus on the N25 in County Waterford. The fatal crash occurred at Kinsalebeg between Youghal and Dungarvan shortly before 8pm, prompting a Garda road closure, technical examination, and an active public appeal for witnesses and dashcam footage.

A man in his 60s lost his life on Sunday evening after the car he was driving collided with a bus in County Waterford.

Gardaí confirmed that the driver was pronounced dead at the scene. While the impact was severe enough to claim a life, all occupants of the bus were medically assessed at the scene, and no serious injuries were reported among them.

Following the crash, the N25 was temporarily closed to allow for a full Garda technical examination. Authorities have since fully reopened the route to traffic.
