The Dotted Line Brings Back Elevated Girl Dinner for the Holidays

Downtown Honolulu restaurant The Dotted Line is bringing back its elevated “Girl Dinner” concept for the holidays, featuring a revamped menu designed to share between two and four guests, Aloha State Daily reported.

The updated dining experience launches today and remains available at the AC Hotel Honolulu location through the end of January 2027. Originally introduced this past April to lean into the viral social media trend, the new 2.0 version swaps out casual elements for curated holiday touches.

Holiday Platters and Pricing Tiers

Diners visiting the Bishop Street establishment can choose between two main platter options served family-style. The holiday classic costs $190, while the holiday reserve is priced at $290.

Both tier choices include a spread featuring 2 ounces of ikura for the classic option, or 2 ounces of caviar for the reserve. The platters also come with crème fraiche, chives, cornichons, olives, Caesar salad, crispy chicken nuggets, Maui Onion chips, golden hash browns, and a dessert selection of chocolate peppermint bark and signature lips lollipops.

“It’s like a revamp of the original Girl Dinner; it’s reinvented, but still has the same things that everyone loves,” chef Chris Murakami told Aloha State Daily. “Instead of a marshmallow, we have a peppermint bark for dessert.”

Beverage Options and Holiday Positioning

The shared platters come packaged with either four martinis or one full bottle of Champagne. General manager Sarah Mendoza noted that individuals can also swap out the martini for a glass of wine.

“It’s our take on ‘home for the holidays,’” Mendoza said. “We’re really bringing the ladies together to sip and gift exchange.”
