Just 24 hours after playing a full match to clinch an NWSL playoff berth in a 1-0 victory over Gotham FC, Trinity Rodman stepped under the lights at Sony Pictures Studios in Culver City, California. The high-profile event brought together daughters of legendary athletes for the lingerie brand’s return to Los Angeles, a city the show hadn’t visited since 2007. Alongside Rodman on the runway were Natalia Bryant, the oldest daughter of late NBA great Kobe Bryant, and Presley Kiffin, daughter of LSU football coach Lane Kiffin. All three debuted pieces from the brand’s VS Pink line, turning the catwalk into a showcase for sports legacy.

Childhood Friends Reunite on the L.A. Catwalk

For Rodman and Bryant, the joint debuts marked a full-circle moment rooted in a decades-old friendship. The two grew up knowing each other as young children after their fathers, Dennis Rodman and Kobe Bryant, shared the court as teammates on the Los Angeles Lakers during the 1998-99 season.

Me and her have known each other since we were little kids, like 4 or 5 years old. I saw her as soon as I walked in so to have a familiar face was really nice, Rodman told Good Morning America backstage.

Despite winning a gold medal with the USWNT at the 2024 Paris Olympics and playing in a World Cup, Rodman admitted that the fashion event induced a distinct brand of stage fright. I would say I’m more nervous for this than probably a World Cup game, she noted in an Instagram video posted by Hypebae.

High Fashion Debuts and Y2K Styling at Sony Pictures Studios

Natalia Bryant’s appearance on Sunday represented the latest milestone in a burgeoning modeling career that began when she signed with IMG Models in February 2021. Having previously walked for major fashion houses such as Versace, Boss, and Off-White, Bryant leaned into a Y2K-inspired aesthetic for the brand. She wore a velour long-sleeve pink bolero paired with a branded black bra featuring Pink embossed in purple leopard print on the cups, low-rise bedazzled blue jeans, and a bevy of accessories including heart-shaped hoop earrings, bangles, and a silver belt adorned with Pink dog charms.

I have always been interested in fashion since a very young age, Bryant said in an exclusive statement. I have a love for the industry, and ever since I can remember, I wanted to model. There is a lot to learn, but I feel this is a great opportunity for me to learn and express myself creatively.

Meanwhile, Rodman showcased a sporty-chic look featuring short-shorts and a cropped top that embraced the peekaboo bra layering trend. Joining them in pink and white VS robes backstage were Presley Kiffin, a USC volleyball player signed to Industry Models LA, and model-actress Jordan Leftwich. The prominent inclusion of elite female athletes follows a precedent set the prior year. Bleacher Report noted that Rodman was following in the footsteps of three-time WNBA All-Star Angel Reese and six-time Olympic medalist Suni Lee, who took part in the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show last year.

The star-studded audience on Sunday also featured prominent figures from the collegiate sports world. Livvy Dunne—who captured a championship with the LSU gymnastics team in 2024—attended the festivities alongside supermodel Olivia Ponton, the girlfriend of Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow.
