Wyoming high school football playoff semifinals set for this weekend

Wyoming High School Football Playoff Semifinals Set the Stage for Laramie Showdowns

Ten games across five classifications will decide who plays for a state championship this weekend, with start times spanning from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m., according to WyoPreps.

The path to War Memorial Stadium in Laramie narrows significantly on Friday. In Class 1A 6-man and Class 2A, the top four seeded teams fought their way through to the semifinal round. Class 4A and Class 1A 9-man saw similar dominance from the top of the brackets, with the top three seeds alongside the No. 5 seed reaching this stage. Only Class 3A witnessed a disruption last week, when an unranked team pulled off a road win to shake up the field.
