2027 Indianapolis Motor Speedway Event Tickets Now On Sale

Tickets for marquee events at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, including the 111th Indianapolis 500 presented by Gainbridge, went on sale at IMS.com and the IMS Ticket Office.

Securing Your Spot at The Racing Capital of the World

Planning for the 2027 racing season officially kicked off as ticket sales opened for major events across the calendar at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Fans looking to secure seats for the speedway’s signature spring and summer traditions can now purchase admission online, over the phone at 317-492-6700, or directly at the IMS Ticket Office.

The ticket office sits on the first floor of the IMS Administration Building at 4790 W. 16th St. in Indianapolis, operating from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. ET Monday through Friday. Beyond standard race-day admission, customers can purchase tickets for practice days, qualifying sessions, and the traditional public drivers’ meeting. The sales window also covers parking, camping, hospitality packages, and public credentials such as Bronze Badges, Silver Badges, garage passes, and pit passes.

Current pricing reflects the lowest remaining rates for these events before scheduled price increases take effect in 2027. To incentivize early purchases, the speedway is waiving the standard $5 per-ticket service fee for any items bought before Jan. 4. Meanwhile, families continue to see cost relief as kids 15 and under gain free admission to all 2027 racing events in general admission areas, provided they are accompanied by an adult general admission ticketholder.

The 2027 Month of May Lineup

The famed Month of May features a packed schedule of practice, qualifying, and racing events culminating in Memorial Day weekend. Tickets are officially available for the following key dates:

  • Sonsio Grand Prix: Saturday, May 15
  • Miller Lite Carb Day: Friday, May 28
  • Legends Day: Saturday, May 29
  • 111th Indianapolis 500 presented by Gainbridge: Sunday, May 30
  • Indy 500 Coors Light Snake Pit: Sunday, May 30

Fans attending the Sonsio Grand Prix can also secure infield camping spots. Infield camping is similarly available for Brickyard Weekend and the TireRack.com Battle on the Bricks.

“The momentum surrounding events at IMS, especially the Month of May, is spectacular,” INDYCAR and IMS President J. Douglas Boles said. “Because so many fans renewed, we’re going on sale with limited inventory for the Indianapolis 500. Don’t wait to make your plans for 2027.”

Boles added that additional announcements regarding Month of May concert lineups, including specific performers and ticketing details, will be released soon. Registration is also open at IMS.com for fans tracking ticket availability for the 2027 BC39 and USAC Indiana Sprint Week events, though specific dates for those gatherings remain pending.

Expanded Summer and Fall Racing Schedules

Beyond the May spectacles, the speedway’s broader 2027 calendar brings several major national touring series to the 2.5-mile oval and road course. Tickets are now on sale for the Racing America Brickyard Vintage Racing Invitational on Saturday, June 12-Sunday, June 13.
