Reporting from Deadline outlines a slate of films currently sitting in early production across the studio.

Batman And Villains Join The DCU Slate

Batman: The Brave and the Bold marks the fabled arrival of the Dark Knight in the DCU, based on a comic run. Andy Muschietti, who directed The Flash in the DCEU, still appears to be helming the film. This DCU arrival will run parallel to Robert Pattinson’s continued tenure in The Batman universe managed by director Matt Reeves.

Savage Hunters, The Bane and Deathstroke movie joins the slate as another villain-focused project. This feature follows the tradition of James Gunn focusing on villains as antiheroes, a style he previously tackled across Suicide Squad, Peacemaker, and Creature Commandos. No casting has been announced for the Bane and Deathstroke film, which follows the path of Clayface ahead of its October 23 release.

Adria Arjona May Join Wonder Woman Cast

Wonder Woman stands as the third pillar of DC, drawing heavy conversation because Diana is widely believed to be cast in the form of Adria Arjona, who will reportedly feature a cameo in Man of Tomorrow. The script is penned by Ana Nogueira, who also wrote Supergirl. Nogueira is additionally writing Teen Titans, though that project was reportedly pushed back so she could focus on Wonder Woman first.

Swamp Thing is returning to the screen in some form following its single-season run on the DC Universe streaming service between 2018 and 2021, where it earned a 92% critic score. The studio has scrapped certain projects, such as The Authority movie, which James Gunn confirmed was dead, while an Amanda Waller television series may not happen.
