Mahnoor recently completed her graduation in anthropology from SOAS University of London, where she studied between 2023 and 2026. The Punjab chief minister traveled to the British capital earlier this month to attend her youngest daughter’s graduation ceremony, returning to Lahore on Wednesday after the event concluded.

Speaking to Geo News during her time in London, the Punjab chief minister described the graduation as a moment of immense pride, noting that all three of her children have now completed their higher education.

Family Presence and Previous Celebrations

The bride has largely stayed out of the public eye, and family representatives have not announced any plans for formal public receptions or extended multi-day wedding festivities. However, the event has drawn senior family members back to Lahore. The grandfather of the bride, PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif, recently returned from a trip to Singapore, altering his scheduled travel plans to London specifically to attend the estate ceremony.

This private observance contrasts with the high-profile multi-day celebrations held earlier in the year. In January, Mahnoor’s brother, Junaid Safdar, married Shanzeh Ali Rohale, the granddaughter of former legislator Shaikh Rohale Asghar. That wedding featured extensive festivities at the Jati Umra estate, including a green-themed mehndi, a sunlit baraat, and an outdoor valima.
