On October 28, Meier Supply expected a solid turnout for the grand opening of its expanded Hartford branch. What the employee-owned HVACR wholesale distributor got was more than 60 people walking through the doors at 116 Ledyard St, Hartford, CT 06144, according to meiersupply.com, which reported on the event. The crowd included Hartford-area contractors and partners who came to see the new buildout for themselves.
That turnout matters because this was not a brand-new branch. Meier Supply has operated in Hartford before; what changed on October 28 is that the existing location now has an expanded footprint and a fresh buildout, giving the company room to stock and showcase more HVACR equipment, parts, and supplies for contractors across the Greater Hartford area. The branch can be reached at (860) 995-4400.
A Bigger Shelf for Greater Hartford Contractors
Meier Supply describes itself as an employee-owned HVACR wholesale distributor with locations across New York, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, and Massachusetts. The Hartford branch fits into that four-state footprint, and the expansion means local contractors now have more of what they need closer to the job site. If a contractor is looking for something specific, the source notes, a local Meier Supply representative can say what is on the shelf at Hartford and what can be brought in.
An expanded branch in Hartford shortens that distance.
The company also says every branch, Hartford included, gives contractors access to technical expertise, training, and business resources aimed at helping them stay competitive as the industry changes. Training schedules are posted online, and the Hartford location is now part of that network.
Vendors on the Floor and a Furnace on the Line
The vendors who joined Meier Supply at its Chicopee event also came to Hartford: LG HVAC, Ecoer, Heatcraft, Velocity Boilers, and Ruud boilers. For contractors who wanted to look at a product more closely, those vendor representatives were the right people to ask.
Two promotions anchored the event. First, Meier Supply is giving away one LG furnace across both grand openings, Hartford on October 28 and the new Chicopee branch on October 27, along with other large-ticket items. One lucky winner takes home the furnace, and the source notes the drawing is still to come. Second, for anyone planning a boiler job, Velocity has a free Carhartt hoodie offer with any boiler purchase through December 31.
Velocity has a free Carhartt hoodie offer with any boiler purchase through December 31 for those planning a boiler job.
For anyone who could not make it on October 28, the practical details are simple: stop by 116 Ledyard St, Hartford, CT 06144, call (860) 995-4400, or reach out to a local Meier Supply representative. The company also keeps a branch locator for finding every Meier Supply location across its four-state territory.
The strongest detail left hanging is the one with a deadline attached: the Velocity boiler promotion runs only through December 31. After December 31, the free Carhartt hoodie offer with any Velocity boiler purchase will end.
