PLDT Home Life and digital health platform mWell launched the mWell Family Plan 399 on October 14, 2026, offering ₱399 monthly broadband-bundled healthcare coverage for up to four family members, including teleconsultations, health tracking, and personal accident insurance.
General inflation reached 7.2% as of September 2026, forcing preventive health visits to the bottom of the priority list as Filipino families grapple with soaring living expenses. Government health data highlights a concerning trend where citizens routinely delay seeking medical attention due to financial constraints, leaving 44.7% of all healthcare expenses paid directly out-of-pocket.
PLDT Home Fiber Subscribers Receive New mWell Family Plan 399 Benefits
To counter financial hesitation around medical care, digital services provider PLDT Home Life partnered with health super-app mWell to introduce a subscription package tailored for broadband users.
Available exclusively to PLDT Home Fiber subscribers, the mWell Family Plan 399 costs ₱399 per month. It extends protection to as many as four household members.

The subscription provides an online central dashboard for parents and caregivers to track wellness indicators in real time. Subscribers receive unlimited on-demand teleconsultations with licensed general practitioners.
They also get certified mental health coaches. Subscribers gain tools to monitor physical activity, step counts, inactivity, and sleep quality through proprietary health scores.
With mWell Family Plan 399, PLDT Home Life continues to round out Filipinos’ lifestyles, bringing proactive wellness straight into the Filipino living room and empowering families with tools that provide total peace of mind without stretching their budgets.

In addition to digital tools, the package includes physical hardware and financial safeguards. Subscribers get a free mWell Prestige Watch that pairs with the app to monitor heart rate, steps, and sleep patterns.
Meanwhile, the primary account holder receives an annual, replenishable ₱20,000 personal accident insurance policy.
Broadband Distribution Strategy Targets Millions of Filipino Households
By tying health subscriptions to broadband connections, the service reaches households where everyday internet use already anchors daily routines.
We have 3.7 million customers, so that’s households. We’re talking about a family of four, so that’s going to be an impact on them [mWell] and also an impact on us,
Evert Chris R. Miranda told reporters in an interview. She noted that customers will enjoy integrated health services alongside connectivity because most subscribers already own smartphones.
The platform currently serves a user base of over seven million and aims to double that figure through the partnership. For mWell, which operates as the digital healthcare arm of Metro Pacific Investments Corporation, the alliance serves as a major growth engine.
We’ve not released our official numbers yet, but right now, we’re 7 million, so our minimum is to double it next year.
