Netflix Hit Nobody Wants This Season 3 Name Drops Minneapolis in Hilarious Scene

Netflix Hit Name-Drops Minneapolis as Season 3 Lands

Season 3 of the hit Netflix romantic comedy Nobody Wants This dropped on October 22, bringing a fresh batch of episodes that quickly put the spotlight on the Twin Cities. It was reported that episode seven features a hilarious shout-out to Minneapolis when two main characters need to invent a backstory on the spot.

The moment arrives in episode seven, titled “Watch What Happens”—a direct nod to host Andy Cohen, who makes a guest cameo in the installment. During the episode, Morgan is invited onto the late-night program and asks Sasha to join her in New York. While visiting a fancy bar, the pair pretends they are celebrating a seven-year anniversary. When asked how they met, Sasha panics and invents a tale about meeting in the Land of 10,000 Lakes, claiming he used to work as a local weatherman covering tornadoes. After coming up with a convincing story, the two name-drop the state once more, with Sasha stating, No matter what, it was fate that we met in Minneapolis. The season ended with cliffhangers and has not yet been renewed for a fourth season.

What Else to Expect in Season 3

The latest season brings back Joanne, played by Kristen Bell, and Noah, played by Adam Brody, as they settle into living together and manage the realities of a stable relationship. Co-showrunner and executive producer Bruce Eric Kaplan explained that the team wanted to let the couple have their moment of settling in and having fun after the hurdles of the previous season. Fellow co-showrunner and EP Jenni Konner added, We didn’t have to do any more ‘Will they, won’t they?’ We know they are going to, and it was sort of, ‘How are they going to?’ Still, viewers can expect all the fun and humor signature to Joanne and Noah’s relationship.

Alongside the main romance, new faces enter the mix. Sarah Silverman joins the recurring cast as Eden, a lead rabbi running Joanne’s Judaism conversion class, while Andrew Rannells plays an opinionated classmate named Sebastian.
