Nicki Minaj Spotted at New Hampshire Polling Station on Election Day

Welcome to New Hampshire, Nicki! You look beautiful! a woman in the crowd shouted as Nicki Minaj posed for photos outside a Derry polling station on Tuesday.

The rap star’s unexpected appearance at Pinkerton Academy marked the latest celebrity sighting during New Hampshire’s midterm elections, according to NBC10 Boston. Minaj, who was seen around 5:30 p.m. being escorted by police, responded, Thank you, before engaging briefly with voters.

I was most impressed.

My pleasure, Minaj said, according to the NBC10 footage. She shook hands with the woman, posed for more photographs, and was then led away by police to board an unmarked tour bus.

Midterm Campaign Trail Echoes in Derry

Minaj’s stop in New Hampshire follows her appearance at a rally in Michigan with President Donald Trump just last week on Oct. 25, where she voiced support for Republican candidates. President Trump helped the star to the stage during that Port Huron event.

Her Tuesday evening presence in Derry brought national political star power directly to a local Granite State voting location. While Minaj was the center of attention at Pinkerton Academy, she was far from the only high-profile figure making rounds at polling places across the state.

Athletes and Sports Legends Turn Out in the Granite State

According to NBC10 Boston, a string of former professional athletes and sports stars were spotted visiting New Hampshire polling stations throughout the day.

They were joined by former Boston Red Sox third baseman Kevin Youkilis, alongside former professional boxers Mike Tyson and Floyd Mayweather, across various polling locations.
