PM General Manager at Cook Out: High Pay with a 4 Day Work Week

Cook Out is seeking a Restaurant PM General Manager, offering a salary between $55,000 and $80,000. The position is designed to replace the traditional five-day work week with a four-shift schedule, granting employees three full days off each week.

The role focuses on high-impact, hands-on leadership during night shifts that begin at 4:45 PM. Rather than an office-based role, the PM General Manager is expected to lead from the front in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.

Appreciation Pay and Performance Bonuses Reward Sales Growth

In addition to the base salary, the company provides $15 per hour in “Appreciation Pay.” Financial rewards are further tied to results through monthly performance-based bonuses, which range from $600 to over $3,000 depending on sales growth.

Management Responsibilities and Requirements

The PM General Manager acts as the “heartbeat of the night shift,” with duties that include:

  • Coaching a large team to ensure gold-standard customer service.
  • Managing P&L factors, specifically food, paper, and labor costs.
  • Strengthening teamwork and motivating a diverse crew.

Candidates must possess at least one year of management experience, preferably in hospitality or restaurants. The company seeks leaders with a proven track record of training talent and a “hustle” gene for managing long lines and high ticket volumes.

Insurance and Retirement Plans Follow Ninety Days Employment

After 90 days of employment, managers are eligible for life, vision, dental, and medical insurance. The company also offers vacation time and a 401(k) plan with a company match of up to 4%.
