6 charged with armed robbery – WTVA

Six young adults from New Albany and Booneville are facing armed robbery and conspiracy charges in Tupelo after an October 25 incident on Lake Circle Drive, according to the Tupelo Police Department. WTVA reported that investigators believe the group lured an individual to the residential area to rob him at gunpoint, an encounter that quickly escalated when shots were fired and one person sustained a gunshot wound.

An Unfolding Investigation on Lake Circle Drive

The sequence of events began when police officers were initially dispatched to the neighborhood following complaints about someone knocking on the doors of multiple homes. Officers located that individual and took him into custody on misdemeanor charges, only to discover later that he was the actual target of the armed robbery.

Around the same time, authorities learned that a gunshot-wound victim had arrived at a local hospital. That report led investigators back to Lake Circle Drive, where they uncovered the crime scene and began piecing together the events of the evening.

Arrests and Charges Filed

The Tupelo Police Department subsequently arrested and charged six individuals with both armed robbery and conspiracy to commit armed robbery. Each suspect has been assigned a bond of $30,000.

  • Jaycee M. Parker, 20, of Booneville
  • Mason B. Hogue, 18, of New Albany
  • Kendal B. White, 19, of Booneville
  • Colin Hogue, 19, of New Albany
  • Kirsten K. Moyer, 18, of Booneville
