Alluel Expands Logistics Operations With New Newark Headquarters and Warehouse

Alluel Secures 19,900-Square-Foot Facility in Newark for New Headquarters

The Fastway Group LLC, operating as the minority-owned third-party logistics provider Alluel, finalized an acquisition of a 19,900-square-foot warehouse located in Newark’s South Ward, according to a press release distributed by PRUnderground on October 27, 2026.

The transaction pushes the company’s total operating footprint past 25,000 square feet. This expansion anchors Alluel’s corporate headquarters in Newark, an operational transition that officially took effect on September 1, 2026.

Founded in 2015 with a single vehicle and an operator, the enterprise has scaled into a multimillion-dollar operation. The firm manages white-glove moving, freight transport, fulfillment, warehousing, and business-critical staging. Its client roster spans private-sector manufacturers, makers, the New York City design community, and production teams, alongside public-sector agencies including the New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA) and the NYC Department of Homeless Services.

South Ward Space Expands Alluel Logistics and Software Capabilities

The newly acquired South Ward space significantly expands Alluel’s physical capabilities for receiving, inspection, staging, and delivery. Company leadership notes that the added square footage creates dedicated room for planned service rollouts, including on-site furniture repair, archival storage, and expanded fulfillment capabilities.

Every operational engagement routes through the company’s proprietary software platform, which provides clients with tracking visibility, inventory management, and auditability from pickup to final placement.

This business has grown through years of relentless work, especially the physical work, but we’ve also been modernizing and customizing our tech stack. We can now meet our operational needs with a more effective go-to-market strategy, state-of-the-art inventory management, and greater visibility for our clients. Our footprint in Newark is a place where we get to put everything into practice and train our people to use new tools and grow right along with us. — Alick Johnson, Founder and COO of Alluel NYC Department

CEO Yemi Rose pointed to the practical advantages of the Newark location for executing the company’s next phase of growth. “It’s gratifying to be in a place where it’s possible to implement these ideas,” Rose said. “In Newark, we have both the space and the community to support our growth. There’s talent here, there’s opportunity here, and there are organizations we really believe in.”

Alluel Partners with Local Organizations to Train Workforce

Alluel’s expansion relies on collaborative workforce initiatives aimed at retaining economic benefits within the municipality. The company has structured a comprehensive training regimen focused on handling standards, skilled installation, and documentation protocols.

To source and onboard local talent, Alluel partnered with Newark Works, the city’s workforce development team, alongside Hopeworks Newark, an organization that trains local youth in artificial intelligence tools. Invest Newark, the city’s economic development corporation, facilitated the company's transition.

Alluel could have planted its flag anywhere in the region, and they chose Newark. They bought into our community, are hiring Newarkers, and are building a path for their employees to own the company they work for. That kind of growth keeps wealth in the community instead of letting it pass through. Invest Newark has been happy to guide them along the way, and we expect Newark to be central to their story for a long time. — Marcus Randolph, President and CEO of Invest Newark

As part of its long-term corporate structure, Alluel plans to convert the business into an employee-ownership model. Certified as a Minority and Women-Owned Business Enterprise (MWBE) in both New York and New Jersey, Alluel maintains ongoing multi-year public-sector contracts while continuing to service commercial clients across New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut.
