Fans holding long-distance travel plans are keeping their ticket stubs after Katseye postponed upcoming concerts in Chicago and Minneapolis, according to rollingstone.com. The cancellations stem from member Megan Skiendiel recovering from a concussion.
United Center and Target Center Dates Put on Hold
The global girl group was scheduled to take the stage at Chicago’s United Center on November 5, followed by a performance at Minneapolis’ Target Center on November 7. Venues first shared the abrupt news on their social media pages before the group addressed the situation directly on Instagram.
“The label has made the decision to postpone our shows in Chicago and Minneapolis as Megan is recovering from a concussion,” the group wrote in an Instagram Story statement. “We are incredibly sorry to disappoint our fans. We know how much you’ve been looking forward to these shows, and that many of you have traveled long distances to be there. We don’t take that tightly, and we’re truly sorry for the disappointment.”

A Rapid Succession of Tour Cancellations
The latest postponements arrive immediately after Katseye called off a Detroit concert earlier in the week just hours before showtime at Little Caesars Arena. At that time, the group cited Skiendiel being unwell with an unspecified illness.
Health setbacks have disrupted the group’s itinerary before. Earlier this year, Katseye dropped out of Olivia Rodrigo’s Daisy Chain Fields Festival after Skiendiel suffered a sprained ankle.
We’re sorry to share that KATSEYE’s show at Target Center on Saturday, November 7, has been postponed due to Megan’s illness. Please hold on to your tickets. They’ll be valid for the new date, which we’ll announce soon. pic.twitter.com/t36SeU1dxt
Ongoing Hiatuses Stretch Wildworld Tour
The North American leg of Katseye’s Wildworld Tour officially kicked off on October 13 and ran through November 28. Juggling a rigorous touring schedule has been further complicated by ongoing member hiatuses. In August, six months after Manon Bannerman announced a break for mental health reasons, Sophia Laforteza revealed she was also stepping away temporarily. Laforteza is expected to rejoin the group in January, while Bannerman’s return date remains undisclosed. Yoonchae Jeong, Skiendiel, Lara Raj, and Daniela Avanzini have been performing as a quartet during the current tour run.
Uncertain Timeline for Rescheduled Performances
“We’ll announce the rescheduled dates as soon as possible, so please hold on to your tickets,” the group added in their statement. “We can’t wait to see you in both cities again soon. Thank you for your continued love, support and understanding.”
A representative for Hybe did not immediately respond to rollingstone.com’s request for comment regarding the rescheduled dates or the exact timeline of Skiendiel’s recovery.
