Little Caesars Arena Doors Open Before Sudden Cancellation
Fans were already inside the venue when the screens lit up with news that the Little Caesars Arena show had been postponed due to illness. Hours before the scheduled 8:00 p.m. start time, the sold-out venue announced that Tuesday night’s Katseye concert was officially postponed.
The last-minute decision came down because member Megan Skiendiel fell ill, forcing the group to call off their Michigan debut. Venue officials at Little Caesars Arena delivered the news just before 7:30 p.m., as fans were already inside the venue and hundreds more were heading toward the concert.
The timing could not have been tighter. Earlier in the evening, three members of the group had participated in a meet-and-greet with VIP ticket holders, and the ensemble had completed a brief two-song sound check for a select group of supporters. But as showtime approached, the reality of the situation set in.
An Unspecified Illness Postpones the Detroit Show
In a statement posted to Instagram Stories, the group directly addressed the sudden change of plans. “Unfortunately, Megan is unwell and unable to perform tonight, and we want to make sure she has the time she needs to rest and recover,” Katseye shared with their followers.
The Detroit stop was positioned as part of an ambitious 19-date North American run for the Wildworld Tour. That itinerary kicked off on October 13 in Miami and ran through late November, concluding in Mexico City on November 27. Tickets for the arena show had been on sale since May.

Two Katseye Members Take Mental Health Hiatuses
Two of Katseye’s six members are currently on hiatus and sitting out the North American dates entirely.
Manon Bannerman announced she was taking a break to focus on mental health, and in August — six months later — Sophia Laforteza revealed she was also stepping away temporarily for similar reasons. While Laforteza is scheduled to rejoin the group in January, no official return date has been announced for Bannerman. The remaining active lineup features Daniela Avanzini, Lara Raj, Megan Skiendiel, and Yoonchae Jeung.
