United Family International Church leader Prophet Emmanuel Makandiwa officially opened a multi-million-dollar auditorium in Kwekwe on Sunday. Located in Mbizo 10, the Life Centre features a 2,500-seater main auditorium and a 500-seater junior auditorium, serving as a major infrastructure milestone for the Zimbabwean mining town.
Prophet Makandiwa and Prophetess Ruth Makandiwa traveled to Kwekwe for a four-day conference that coincided with the opening of the new facility. The event marked the conclusion of the Apostolic Summit, which was hosted by Apostle Joy and Pastor Mary Museba of New Creation Life Ministries International.
Delegates and Performances Mark the Apostolic Summit
The summit drew thousands of delegates from across Zimbabwe as well as international locations including the United Kingdom, Ghana, and South Africa. Praise and worship sessions at the gathering featured performances from several gospel musicians, among them Blessing Jeduthum, Mathias Mhere, Joyous Celebration, The Unveiled, Minister Ellard, Sheron Cherayi, and Batsirai Shasha.
The newly commissioned venue, known as the Life Centre, is situated in Mbizo 10. It includes a main auditorium that seats 2,500 people alongside a junior auditorium with a capacity of 500 seats.
This facility is not only for Kwekwe, but the whole continent and the whole world. This is a place where lives will be transformed, and we expect God to be working miraculously in this place.

Prophet Makandiwa specifically commended Apostle Joy Museba during the opening ceremony for his commitment to excellence and financial transparency regarding the project.
He could have used the money on something else, but he chose to invest it in something that is beneficial to the community.

Local Leadership Hails Infrastructure Milestone in Mbizo 10
Kwekwe Mayor Councillor Albert Zinhanga stated that the development enhances the city’s profile and contributes to its growing infrastructure as authorities position the mining town among the fastest-growing cities in the country.
We’re really proud to be associated with NCL and Apostle Joy, who spearheaded the construction of this auditorium. It goes a long way in putting Kwekwe on the map.
Councillor Albert Zinhanga, Mayor of Kwekwe
Ward 10 Councillor Thomas Mahapa noted that the church construction project also altered the physical and social environment of the neighborhood, pointing out that the property was previously undeveloped bushland that had turned into a local haven for drug and substance abuse.
We are grateful for this development, as it has helped eradicate drug and substance abuse, which had become the order of the day at the venue. The place has since transformed from a drug haven into a beautiful place of worship.
Councillor Thomas Mahapa, Ward 10 Councillor
Although the Life Centre has been officially opened and commissioned, finishing touches continue at the site to establish the property as a permanent landmark in Kwekwe.
