Monticello Indoor Farmers Market Returns to Community Center Nov 7

The Monticello Indoor Farmers Market kicks off Saturday, Nov. 7, running from 9 a.m. to noon in the main hallway of the Monticello Community Center at 505 Walnut St.

The transition marks a seasonal shift for a community gathering place that celebrated its 20th outdoor season in 2026. The city’s market has long served as a hub for residents to shop locally, catch up with neighbors, and support regional agricultural producers.

Winter Schedule and Market Details

For shoppers planning their Saturday mornings, the indoor market operates on select dates through the colder months. Following the Nov. 7 launch, the market will return on Dec. 5, Jan. 9, Feb. 13, and March 13. All sessions run from 9 a.m. to noon at the community center.

This year’s indoor lineup features 24 vendors, though participation may vary by date. Shoppers will find many of the same familiar faces from the summer outdoor season, offering everything from canned goods, baked treats, and meats to honey, maple syrup, mushrooms, and handcrafted items. Handcrafted goods will also be available from Beads Etc., Constant Creations, 89th & Oak, and Mason’s Needle & Nest. Live music is planned throughout the indoor season, subject to musician availability.

It will be a bustling day at the community center, which is hosting multiple events simultaneously. Additionally, the Monticello Senior Center will offer crafts and lunch concessions.

Participation in the indoor market is limited to vendors who previously took part in an outdoor season. For updates on participating vendors and entertainment, visitors can check the Monticello Farmers Market Facebook page or sign up for the email newsletter through the city’s website.
