Salt Lake City Tip-Off Sets High Stakes for BYU and Ohio State

Roster Turnover and Returning Leaders
Dybantsa led the nation last season in scoring with 25.5 points per game while making 51.0 percent of his field-goal attempts. Richie Saunders, who averaged 18.0 points and 5.8 rebounds in 25 games before a season-ending knee injury, was also selected in the draft at No. 32 by the Memphis Grizzlies.

On the other side, John Mobley Jr. leads the Buckeyes.
“I feel good. I just stepped on a foot. Little roll. Felt there was no need to go back in. It’s better off just resting it,” Mobley said, emphasizing it was a minor injury.

Looking Ahead in the Season
Mobley and Amare Bynum are the returning starters for Ohio State. Bynum averaged 9.7 points and 4.9 rebounds as a freshman last season and agreed with Diebler’s assessment that he needs a larger role in the offense.
