An 18-year-old Tewksbury man described by federal authorities as a race war advocate who called mass shooters his “heroes” now faces federal charges for allegedly threatening to kill President Donald Trump. Trenton Touch was charged on Oct. 30 with making a threat against the President of the United States, a case unsealed by a federal magistrate judge on Thursday.
The allegations stem from a direct message Touch sent on June 21 on Instagram, which included a photo of him holding what appears to be a scoped rifle and the text “it’s time,” “im gonna kill trump,” and “not yet unc i suck at shooting past 200 yards.” The messages were brought to the FBI’s attention in September after Meta, the company behind Instagram, disclosed them as a result of new algorithms designed to identify threats of violence.
Prosecutors File Criminal Complaint
Prosecutors filed a criminal complaint against Touch on Oct. 30, charging him with making a threat against the President of the United States. The case was unsealed on Thursday by U.S. District Court Magistrate Judge Paul G. Levenson. Touch is scheduled to make his initial appearance in federal court in Boston on Monday.
Investigation Prompted by Social Media Posts
The investigation into Touch was prompted by disclosures from Meta, which identified four Instagram accounts allegedly used by him: “Noctulianmumma,” “trentontou2,” “suwiishwiwheieb,” and “fascistlarper2.” According to an FBI affidavit, these accounts “submitted multiple communications in which he threatened to kill other individuals.” In addition to the threat against Trump, Touch allegedly wrote messages such as “I just want to kill a few people like you before I die” and expressed a desire for “larping while shooting a place up” and hanging someone. The affidavit also details his alleged fascination with mass shooters, particularly those motivated by racist extremism, whom he referred to as his “heroes.”

Alleged White Supremacist Ideology
The FBI affidavit alleges that Touch expressed an adherence to violent white supremacist, Nationalist Socialist, and accelerationist ideology. He allegedly shared videos of shootings, beheadings, and other graphic content, edited to evade platform algorithms. On Aug. 17, he allegedly wrote in an Instagram group chat: “All these nons deserves is more killings in their place of worship and their homes. There should be a Christchurch happening every single day of every single week. It should be constant death and misery for them.” The affidavit also references posts containing names of mass shooters and white supremacist violence, including a clear reference to Charles Manson’s “Helter Skelter” ideology.
Are you truly ready for the helter skelter? Are you truly ready to HATE? Not only HATE the alien races, but the race traitors as well.
is an example of his alleged rhetoric cited in the document.
