Texas Rattlers Secure Final Spot in 2026 PBR Teams Championship
The No. 5 Texas Rattlers punched their ticket to the 2026 PBR Teams Championship on Saturday, surviving a high-stakes Last Chance Game at T-Mobile Arena to keep their title hopes alive.
According to reports from PBR.com and Newsbeep, the Rattlers join the No. 2 Austin Gamblers, No. 3 Nashville Stampede, and No. 8 Arizona Ridge Riders in the final four, setting the stage for a dramatic conclusion to the season in Las Vegas on Sunday, Nov. 8.
The Last Chance Game proved to be a test of endurance and nerve. After a scoreless four-out streak to open the contest, the competition intensified as riders began finding their rhythm.
Carolina’s Guilherme Valleiras broke the ice with an 87.85-point ride, but Texas stayed within striking distance throughout the evening. The momentum shifted decisively when twenty-three-year-old Qynn Andersen successfully steered Mr. Fahrenheit, securing the first-ever qualified ride against the bull and clinching the win for the Rattlers.

Reflecting on the team’s path to the finals, veteran rider Lucas Divino emphasized the mental and spiritual focus required for such a high-pressure environment. “It’s very important because we’ve been in this situation a couple times, but we have to leave everything in God’s hands,” Divino told the CW broadcast.
“We have enough talent to win anything like the other teams, but God knows who’s going to be the winner. We just cheer for everybody to be safe and be healthy. That’s all that matters.”
Ridge Riders Upset Missouri Thunder to Reach Championship Sunday
Earlier in the day, the Nashville Stampede secured a narrow victory over the Carolina Cowboys in an electrifying walk-off finish. With the game on the line in the bottom of the fifth, Nashville substituted Gustavo Luiz da Silva into the lineup.
He delivered an 89.15-point ride on Let’s Roll, narrowly edging the Cowboys 268.80-259.95. The result sent the defending 2025 PBR Teams Champions to the Last Chance Game, where they were eventually eliminated.
Gamblers Maintain Momentum
The Austin Gamblers proved why they are a formidable force in the bracket, riding four consecutive bulls to defeat the Texas Rattlers 359.30-265.40 in their head-to-head matchup. Three-time PBR Teams MVP Jose Vitor Leme led the charge with a 90.25-point ride, extending his own record-setting count of 90-point rides to 96. The win secured the Gamblers a direct path to the final day of competition.
The 2026 PBR Teams Championship concludes on Sunday, Nov. 8, with a schedule that pits the Texas Rattlers against the Nashville Stampede in the first game of the day. The Arizona Ridge Riders will face the Austin Gamblers in the second game, with the winners of those two matchups meeting later to decide the championship title. All games will be broadcast live on the CW starting at 5:30 p.m. EST.
