First announced in December, Driven was built by car-enthusiast co-founders including longtime producer Michael George, Tanner Foust, and Emelia Hartford. Ahead of an upfront presentation to advertisers scheduled for November 3 at SEMA in Las Vegas, the platform revealed that its initial beta program has drawn more than 15,000 users over the last few months to shape its technology and community features.
We built Driven to bring premium storytelling and authentic car culture together,
Driven CEO Michael George said in the company’s announcement. Enthusiasts want to go deeper into the people, the craft and what’s really at stake. These four originals deliver that – without fabricated timelines, fake ticking clocks, or manufactured drama.
Inside the 2027 Programming Slate
The streaming platform’s debut lineup features four distinct series spanning precision engine building, grueling hill climb competition, documentary-style endurance, and top-fuel drag racing. Additional series premiering exclusively on Driven in early 2027 include Pikes Peak, Queen of the Mountain, and Go or Go Home.
Leading the slate is Art of Speed, a six-part, one-hour series starring Tom Nelson and created and directed by Michael George, with Emelia Hartford producing. Filmed over five years in Nelson’s shop, the series follows individual builds from bare blocks to initial ignition, showcasing projects like Maximus—the twin-turbo Charger built for Furious 7—and David Freiburger’s 1,500-horsepower Camaro, culminating on the challenging roads of Iceland.
Alongside Nelson’s workshop chronicle, the 2027 schedule features Pikes Peak: A Race to the Clouds, a three-part series chronicling Radford Motors’ 100-day effort to build and race a million-dollar customer car up the 12.42-mile course. The project paired driver Tanner Foust and Jenson Button with builders Joe Scarbo and Martin Jung for a high-stakes run resulting in Radford’s first race ever and a win.
Documenting Personal Stakes and Extreme Competition
Complementing the team-based documentary work, the 90-minute feature Queen of the Mountain follows Driven co-founder Emelia Hartford’s return to Pikes Peak. After an earlier attempt fell short of the summit, Hartford built a 1,064-horsepower Corvette ZR1, welded the safety cage herself, and recorded a 10-minute, 11-second run.

The initial programming block rounds out with Go or Go Home, a three-part, 30-minute series exploring an entire season of NHRA drag racing. Following four-time champion Steve Torrence and Antron Brown across Bristol, Sonoma, Charlotte, and the U.S. Nationals in Indianapolis, the series highlights the human and financial realities of competing against billionaire budgets.
Additional automotive talent slated for future platform programming includes Ben Collins, Ant Anstead, and Jenson Button, as the ad-supported venture positions itself to anchor a broader digital library for dedicated automotive communities.
