Ducks Head to Columbus for Marquee Big Ten Clash With No. 11 Buckeyes
The University of Oregon athletic department reported that the Oregon Ducks will travel to Ohio Stadium for a Saturday afternoon showdown against No. 11 Ohio State on November 7, 2026. Kickoff is scheduled for 12:30 p.m. PT, with CBS broadcasting the game nationally from Columbus, Ohio.
Oregon enters the matchup holding a 5-3 overall record and a 3-2 mark in Big Ten play. The Buckeyes sit at 6-2 overall and 4-1 in conference action, carrying the No. 11 ranking in the AP and coaches polls. Dan Lanning leads the Ducks in his fifth season with a 53-11 record, while Ryan Day enters his eighth year guiding Ohio State with an 88-14 career mark.
Recent Series History and Familiar Stakes
Ohio State holds a 10-2 advantage in the all-time series, including a 5-1 record in Columbus. Recent meetings, however, have featured tight margins and national implications. The Ducks secured a 35-28 victory over the then-No. 3 Buckeyes on September 11, 2021, during their last visit to Ohio Stadium in front of 100,482 fans. Oregon later claimed a 32-31 win in a top-five showdown at Autzen Stadium on October 12, 2024. The Buckeyes responded with a 41-21 victory in the College Football Playoff Quarterfinal at the Rose Bowl on January 1, 2025, en route to a national title.

Saturday’s meeting marks Oregon’s seventh all-time trip to Columbus. A victory would improve the Ducks to 21-3 in conference play since joining the Big Ten, including an 11-1 record in regular-season conference road games, and secure the program’s 18th top-25 win under Lanning.
Second-Half Surge Powering Oregon to Ohio
The Ducks arrive in Ohio following a 34-26 home win over then-No. 20 Northwestern on Halloween. Oregon erased a 20-6 halftime deficit by outscoring the Wildcats 21-6 in the second half. Quarterback Dylan Raiola finished with 336 passing yards and three touchdowns, connecting twice with wide receiver Dakorien Moore.

With running backs Davison and Hill dealing with injuries, freshman running back Brandon Smith stepped in against Northwestern to rush for 82 yards and a touchdown on eight carries, adding 32 receiving yards.
Defensive Front and National Statistical Ranks
Oregon’s defense limited Northwestern to 172 total yards and two field goals in the second half of the Halloween win, holding the Wildcats to 1-of-8 on third down after a 6-of-9 first half. Senior outside linebackers Matayo Uiagalelei and Teitum Tuioti continue to anchor the pass rush. Uiagalelei has 6.0 sacks this season, tying him for second in the Big Ten and giving him 24.5 for his career, fourth-best in program history. Tuioti enters the weekend with 5.5 sacks and 35.5 career tackles for loss.

The Ducks lead the nation in fewest punt return yards allowed with minus-6 on seven returns. Defensive back Ify Obidegwu shares the Big Ten lead with nine passes defended, while safety Koi Perich leads the team with 53 total tackles.
