Kerala Lottery Results Announced for Karunya KR-775 Draw With ₹1 Crore Top Prize
The Kerala State Lottery Department has officially announced the results for the Karunya KR-775 lottery draw, naming ticket number KO 447257 as the winner of the ₹1 crore first prize.
The lucky draw took place at Gorky Bhavan, near Bakery Junction in Thiruvananthapuram, at 3 pm on Saturday. For ticket holders across the state, the weekly draw brings a familiar mix of anticipation and strict verification requirements as winning numbers are matched against official bulletins.
Prize Breakdown and Winning Numbers for KR-775
While the top ticket secured the ₹1 crore first prize, the Kerala State Lotteries Department structured multiple tiers of cash awards for participants holding matching sequences.
The second prize of ₹25 lakh was awarded to ticket number KP 868105. Meanwhile, the third prize of ₹10 lakh went to ticket number KW 852274, according to the official records. A consolation prize of ₹5,000 is designated for the remaining series matching the first prize winning number.
Tax regulations apply directly to the payout. The first prize winnings are subject to a 30% tax deduction at source before disbursement. Lottery winnings in India are taxable, meaning the final amount received by winners will reflect applicable statutory deductions.
Submit Winning Tickets Within Thirty Days
Winners of the Kerala state lottery must verify their ticket numbers against the results published in the official Kerala Government Gazette. Prize claims must be submitted within 30 days of the draw date.
Holders of first and second prizes must surrender their winning tickets either in person or via insured registered post to the Director of State Lotteries. Alternatively, claimants can submit their tickets through nationalized, scheduled, state, or district co-operative banks alongside required paperwork.
Valid identification, such as an Aadhaar card or PAN card, is mandatory when submitting a winning ticket. Winners are advised to retain all documentation related to the prize and any tax deducted, as these records are necessary for filing income tax returns.
