Church’s “Dedicate” Series Now Streaming on Prime Video

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints announced on November 4, 2026, that its six-part video series “Dedicate” is now available on Amazon Prime Video in the United States, newsroom.churchofjesuschrist.org reported. The streaming release expands access to a production that has already garnered nearly 3 million views on the Church’s YouTube channel since the first episode premiered on October 4, 2026.

The move places the Church-produced series in front of a global streaming audience months before the Salt Lake Temple opens to public tours in April 2027. Mormon News, summarizing earlier reporting from ABC4 Utah, confirmed the Prime Video availability on the evening of November 4, noting the series had previously been available only through Church channels before the Prime Video release.

Seven Nations, One Renovated Temple

“Dedicate” profiles seven young adults from Brazil, France, Ghana, Japan, Mexico, the Philippines, and the United States as they explore the newly renovated Salt Lake Temple and reflect on their growing faith in Jesus Christ and clearer understanding of temple worship. The cast includes both lifelong members of the Church and recent converts, offering varied perspectives on spiritual growth and personal journeys.

Throughout the series, these young people meet with senior Church leaders, including President Dallin H. Oaks, who welcome their questions and help them explore topics of faith, purpose, and spiritual growth. Watch-party screenings have taken place across the globe as new episodes became available each week, including events in Brazil, France, and Ghana, alongside events in Mexico, Japan, the Philippines, and the United States.

Expanding Access Beyond YouTube

To reach an even wider audience, the Church has released the episodes on Prime Video. The series remains available on the Church’s YouTube channel and Church-owned platforms in 12 languages, including the native language of each cast member, ensuring accessibility across diverse linguistic communities.

The Church presents the series as one of multiple avenues through which millions of people are expected to engage with the Salt Lake Temple Celebration, both online and on-site. President Dallin H. Oaks and other Church leaders have called upon people around the globe to take part in the temple celebration, whether attending physically or online, and pointed to “Dedicate” as one means of doing so.

A Six-Month Celebration Centered on Christ

The Salt Lake Temple Celebration will take place from April 5 to October 1, 2027, highlighting an important moment in the temple’s history. The celebration’s theme is “Rejoice in Christ,” reflecting the purpose of both the temple and the event. The programming will focus on Jesus Christ, encouraging attendees to explore His doctrines, His gospel, and His place within God’s plan for His children.

During the six-month celebration, guests will find opportunities to enjoy live music, exhibits, and other events on Temple Square. According to the Church, the celebration is an international occasion welcoming all people irrespective of their religious heritage or history, including longtime associates of the Church, newcomers to Temple Square, and those joining remotely from across the globe.

Temples Versus Meetinghouses

The Salt Lake Temple differs from meetinghouses, or chapels, where members gather each Sunday. Church members regard temples as literal houses of the Lord. Within these holy buildings, people gain insight into life’s purpose, pledge to live by the teachings of Jesus Christ, and dedicate themselves to serving others, setting these sacred venues apart from regular weekly worship gatherings.

Final Episode Timed to Temple Opening

The sixth episode of “Dedicate” will be available in April 2027, timed to coincide with the opening of the Salt Lake Temple to the public. This global effort culminates with visitors from April to October 2027 having the opportunity to experience the temple and its message of faith, hope, and belonging, the Church stated.
