Producers for the hit television show Love Island USA are actively casting local singles from Albuquerque and Santa Fe for the program’s upcoming ninth season, according to KOAT.

A Nationwide Search Reaches New Mexico

Casting directors are currently sifting through applications submitted from across the United States. The team is targeting participants from major metropolitan areas as well as smaller towns.

The goal is to assemble a roster of contestants from diverse backgrounds. Producers want individuals who bring a wide array of perspectives, occupations, and passions to the screen.

Trading Daily Routines for a Fijian Villa

Candidates who make the cut will leave their normal lives behind. They will travel to a sprawling Fijian villa.

Inside the residence, contestants live together and couple up. Throughout the season, they must attempt to avoid elimination.

Viewers at home hold considerable power over the outcome. Fans actively influence the competition by voting for their favorite islanders.

First-Time Television Hopefuls Welcomed

The casting department is keeping its doors open to everyday people. This includes individuals who have never previously considered appearing on television.

Eligible participants can apply directly through the production’s standard channels. Alternatively, friends and family members are invited to submit nominations on behalf of others.

How to Submit Nominations and Applications

To nominate a candidate, interested parties can email specific details to the production.

Submissions should include the candidate’s name, relationship details, contact information, and social media handles. Information can be sent directly to [email protected] or via Instagram at @loveislandusacasting.
