Playoff Scenarios and the Regular-Season Finale

Both Lower Columbia and Highline have already clinched berths in the upcoming NWAC playoffs. However, the battle for the top seed in the West Region remains deadlocked. Lower Columbia currently sits tied with Highline at 32 points atop the standings, making the upcoming regular-season finale a high-stakes affair.

To capture sole possession of the West Region’s top seed and secure a crucial opening-round bye in the postseason tournament, Lower Columbia must defeat Clark College in Vancouver on Saturday. Simultaneously, the Red Devils need Highline to drop points by either drawing or losing against Tacoma Community College. If both programs win on Saturday, they will finish the regular season even at the top, forcing NWAC tiebreaker criteria to decide the seed.

Honoring the Sophomore Class

Prior to the match, North Lake Field hosted a special pre-match ceremony where Lower Columbia celebrated Sophomore Day by paying tribute to their departing second-year student-athletes. The program recognized Addison Hartley, Raelie Guizzotti, Marseille Edwards, Sam Roundtree, Payton Bullmore, Zoe Ernst, Annabelle Rogers, Maylee Reynolds, and goalkeeper Haley Loll for their leadership, dedication, and contributions to Red Devil soccer both on the pitch and in the classroom.
