Oregon closes out its 2026 regular season on Friday at 8 p.m., traveling north to face No. 21 Washington with coverage broadcast on B1G+.
Heading into the regular-season finale, the Ducks carry strong statistical metrics, particularly in shot accuracy. Oregon currently leads the entire Big Ten in shot accuracy at .483, converting 113 of its 234 total shots on target. Leading that precise attack is Logan Russo, who holds an astounding .938 on-target percentage by putting 15 of her 16 attempts on frame.
The offense has also leaned on standout freshmen throughout the fall. Defender Kylie Farmer earned Midseason Top 100 Freshmen recognition from TopDrawerSoccer and secured Big Ten Freshman of the Week honors on Oct. 13 after netting a goal and providing an assist in the final ten minutes to erase a two-goal deficit in a 3-3 draw against Iowa. Earlier in the schedule, Shiloh Baird picked up the conference’s weekly freshman award on Aug. 18, becoming just the third player in program history to score in her first two career collegiate games.
The program set a new benchmark for average attendance, averaging 770 fans per game this season. That figure narrowly edges out the previous attendance record of 762 fans per game set in 2006.
Head coach Tracy Joyner brings a career record of 136-95-35 into the matchup, spanning 11 winning seasons over 14 total years as a head coach. Her tenure includes a 58-55-16 mark across seven seasons at the Division I level, complemented by earlier successful stints building programs at Santa Rosa Junior College, San Francisco State, and UC Davis. The Ducks also put together a stellar 5-0-1 undefeated nonconference run this autumn, marking just the second time the program accomplished that feat since 1981.
Friday’s contest mirrors the dramatic close to the 2025 campaign, when Oregon upended Big Ten Champion Washington 2-1 in the season finale. In that match, Carly Cormack tallied her team-leading fourth goal of the season in the 35th minute before Lauren Kenny secured the game-winner from point-blank range on a set piece with just two minutes remaining on the clock.
