The Arrest in Cleveland and Charges in Stow

The Stow Police Department identified Wade, Allison’s boyfriend, as a suspect in the homicide on Saturday. Authorities issued a be-on-the-lookout notice Friday for the car Wade was driving. Members of the Cuyahoga County Sheriff’s Office located the vehicle in Cleveland and took Wade into custody on the unrelated failure-to-appear warrant.

Officers recovered a handgun inside the vehicle during the arrest. Following the apprehension, the Summit County Prosecutor’s Office authorized felony murder charges against Wade. Officials booked and processed him at the Stow City Jail before transferring him to the Summit County Jail.

Wade is scheduled for a video arraignment at Stow Municipal Court on Monday at 10 a.m.

Discovery on Vira Road and Ongoing Investigation

Stow Police Captain Bryan Snavely stated that officers responded to a house in the 4100 block of Vira Rd. around 5:20 p.m. Wednesday to assist a landlord with a tenant issue. Inside the residence, officers discovered Allison dead from multiple gunshot wounds.

Family members arrived at the scene while police were present, expressing concern because they had not been able to reach Allison. Stow Police Chief Heather Prusha noted that a family member entered the home alongside police. A nearby neighbor recounted hearing the screams of Allison’s sister upon discovering the body.

Investigators determined that Allison had been dead for multiple days before police arrived. Stow detectives and agents with the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation are handling the ongoing probe into the domestic homicide.
