Vampirina: Teenage Vampire Season Two Premieres October 6 on Disney Channel

Disney’s music-driven live-action series Vampirina: Teenage Vampire returns for its second season on October 6 on Disney Channel and streams the next day on Disney+, bringing new musical dreams, guest stars, and a mysterious prophecy to Wilson Hall.

Return to Wilson Hall and the Season Two Trailer Debut

Disney has released the official trailer and key art for Vampirina: Teenage Vampire Season Two, which will continue the music-driven, live-action adaptation. In the new episodes, Vee and her gang return to Wilson Hall carrying fresh musical ambitions after a major milestone.

Last season ended with Vee successfully performing for the entire school in front of her idol, Millie Eyelash. That performance came with a chaotic complication: the inadvertent release of a horde of monsters previously imprisoned in the mirror realm.

Now, alongside their regular classes and creative pursuits, the characters must try to make sense of a prophecy that dictates Vee and Elijah can never be together, adding dramatic friction to the campus comedy.

Cast Additions, Returning Stars, and Creative Leadership

The live-action adaptation features a returning core ensemble alongside prominent guest stars. Vampirina: Teenage Vampire Season Two stars Kenzi Richardson (“Aquamarine” TV pilot) as the edgy and adorable Vee, Jiwon Lee as Vee’s kind and girly-girl roommate Sophie, Shaun Dixon as the intriguing and laid-back Elijah, Milo Maharlika as the 600-year-old ghost Demi, and Faith Hedley as the super-talented legacy student Britney.

For the sophomore season, Jodie Sweetin (“Full House”) and Ava Jean (“Camp Rock 3”) join as recurring guest stars. Hollywood Records artist Hudson Stone (“Camp Rock 3,” The Mickey Mouse Club pilot) is also set to guest star, alongside Kim Coles (“Living Single”) returning as Dean Merriweather.

Behind the scenes, the series was developed for television by Randi Barnes. From the team behind Julie and the Phantoms, Dan Cross and David Hoge serve as showrunners and executive producers. Creator of hit series High School Musical: The Musical: The Series Tim Federle is executive producer, with Bronwyn North-Reist and Meg Deloatch (“Family Reunion”) as executive producers.

Walt Disney Records Prepares the Season 2 Soundtrack Album

Music remains central to the viewing experience, and Walt Disney Records will release a new soundtrack album for the Disney Channel original series. The album features the original songs from the show’s second season written by Jason Mater, Jordin Sparks, Dana Thomas & others and performed by cast members Kenzi Richardson (who stars in the title role), as well as Shaun Dixon, Milo Maharlik, Faith Hedley, Ji Won Lee, among others. Season 2 of the series is scored by Rebecca Kneubuhl.

The soundtrack will be released digitally on October 2 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. A first track (Let the Monster Out performed by Richardson) is already available to stream/download. The label has previously released an album featuring the songs from the first season last fall.

Beloved by fans of the popular book saga and record-breaking Disney Jr. series “Vampirina,” Vampirina: Teenage Vampire tells the story of a tween vampire girl who leaves the safety of Transylvania to attend a performing arts boarding school, living among humans for the first time while pursuing her passion for music and keeping her vampire identity a secret. The series returns Oct. 6 on Disney Channel, and the full season will stream the next day on Disney+.
