Chanel Ayan Flies From Dubai to L.a. as Support Rallies Following Chrishell Stause and G Flip Split
A cross-continental flight from Dubai to Los Angeles is testing just how quickly tight-knit reality television friendships can mobilize in a crisis. Following the end of her four-year relationship with Australian musician G Flip, 45-year-old Selling Sunset alum Chrishell Stause has received an influx of personal support, featuring a long-distance arrival from her former Traitors costar Chanel Ayan, TMZ reported.
Sources familiar with the situation informed TMZ that Stause has felt heavily impacted since the breakup, prompting Chanel Ayan to make the transcontinental journey this week to provide direct support in Los Angeles. Stause’s support system also expanded beyond international travel, with one of her sisters catching a flight from Missouri to L.A. for emotional backup, alongside several longtime friends rallying around the television personality.
According to separate coverage from Yahoo News Canada and Page Six, Stause was first spotted publicly since the breakup on Wednesday, Nov. 4, walking her dog Peace in Los Angeles. Wearing a white striped top, black sweatpants, a long tan jacket, and pink Givenchy slides, the reality star maintained a serious expression during the low-key outing.
The Distance and Dynamics Behind the Breakup
The four-year romance between Stause and 33-year-old Georgia Flipp—known professionally as G Flip—began after they met on Halloween in 2021, eventually going public during a Selling Sunset reunion episode in May 2022. Though the pair celebrated multiple unofficial wedding ceremonies, including a Las Vegas service officiated by an Elvis impersonator in May 2023, Yahoo News Canada confirmed they never legally wed. Stause and G Flip had celebrated four wedding ceremonies in total.

Insiders close to the former couple told PEOPLE that geographic distance proved to be the primary catalyst for the split. Splitting time between California and Australia created unsustainable travel demands. “The distance is what really drove the two of them apart,” an insider explained to the publication, noting that the long flights, multi-week separations, and time differences ultimately took a heavy toll.
Public accounts of how the split materialized have varied across outlets. While Stause shared an emotional teary video on Instagram on Oct. 26 announcing they were no longer together, Yahoo reported via TMZ that G Flip was actually the one who initiated the separation, flying from Australia to Los Angeles to communicate that their romantic feelings had shifted toward a platonic dynamic. Stause was reportedly blindsided by the conversation and shocked by the breakup. Stause’s former Selling Sunset costar Bre Tiesi told Page Six’s Virtual Reali-Tea that she was “not surprised” by the split, adding, “I don’t think anyone is surprised.”

Meanwhile, Page Six reported that G Flip got really fed up with the situation and couldn’t take it anymore. People who knew the couple found the split surprising because they were allegedly so happy and seemed so in love.
What Lies Ahead for Both Artists
Despite the abrupt end to their romantic commitment, neither party has entirely closed the door on future possibilities. Sources noted to Yahoo News Canada that Stause and G Flip still care deeply for one another and have not ruled out a potential romantic reconciliation down the line, though living across separate continents remains an ongoing hurdle.
G Flip also addressed the separation via social media, writing that they will “always love her” and cherish their shared memories deeply. For now, Stause remains surrounded by her visiting family, longtime friends, and international costars as she plans her next steps in Los Angeles.
