Sheriff Investigates Raceland Death
Captain Brennan Matherne stated that Kenan Urker was found dead upon arrival, and authorities launched a death investigation after the Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s Office responded to a residence at 107 Double H Drive, Lot 4, in Raceland following a call received at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday, October 1, 2026.
Family members discovered him inside the home after Blanchard sent a birthday text message that went unanswered. According to details shared with People, Blanchard’s brother, Dylan, and his sister-in-law went to the residence to join Urker for dinner and found him unresponsive.
Blanchard Suspects Overdose After Online Abuse
Speaking to People, Blanchard stated that she suspects an overdose caused his death. I don’t know if it was intentional or not,
she said, adding that he was not in a good state of mind lately.
She also mentioned screaming until her throat burned and noted that police had not told her what substance he took, while emphasizing that he did not have a drug problem.
Blanchard also pointed to intense online harassment as a heavy burden on her late partner. In a statement reported across multiple outlets, she detailed the relentless harassment he faced.
Ken endured an unimaginable level of public scrutiny and relentless cyberbullying across social media platforms, including TikTok and Reddit. The cruelty directed toward him was something no human being should have to endure.

Urker’s sister, Autumn, also confirmed his passing during a TikTok Live broadcast on Thursday evening, sharing that his final words to her were I love you.

The couple’s history spanned nearly ten years, beginning in 2017 when they connected as prison pen pals while Blanchard served a sentence for her role in the 2015 killing of her mother, Clauddine Dee Dee
